Victorian Art Glass - Brides Bowls / Baske

  • Rare Teal Aqua Blue Satin Glass Nailsea Brides Bowl. Oyster White Fades to a Rich Aqua Teal Ruffled Bowl. Fancy Small Side Handled Frame by Van Bergh S.P. Co. in good condition. Some silverplate loss, slight tilt to handle. Stands secure and looks great!

  • Fancy Piecrust Edge Brides Bowl on a Silverplate Empire Company Frame. Wonderfully Handpainted and Decorated, a Soft Apricot Color which is quite rare. Bowl is in Excellent Condition, Frame is in Great Condition with only slight loss.

  • Cut Glass on Silverplate Victorian Stand. Fine Cut Bowl, High Sides, Perfect Fit! Bowl is in Excellent Condition. Rockford Stand has age appropriate wear.

  • Pink Opalescent Centerpiece Bowl on a tall Silverplate Stand. Fits well, possibly original to the stand. Silverplate is in very nice original condition with very little wear. Bowl is perfect with no nics, cracks or chips.

  • Blue Nailsea Satin Glass Victorian Centerpiece. Silverplate Stand in Excellent Condition with minor plate loss as expected with age. Glass is a soft colorless oyster white fading to baby blue ath the crimped ruffled rim. Nailsea pattern throughout. Excellent Condition.

  • Wonderful large Oval Brides Basket in Pale Pink and Oyster Cut Velvet. Color is Oyster almost colorless fading to a soft pink at the ruffled rim. Diamond Quilted Cut Velvet in Excellent condition with no cracks, breaks or repairs. Frame is incredible decorated with strawberries along the top of the base and sides of the handles. base is decorated in a floral motif, aesthetic movement style. Base is marked Webster & Son. Plating is worn.

  • Peachblow Satin Cased Glass Brides Bowl/Compote. Wonderful Enameled Decoration. Bowl is perfect with no nics, chips or cracks, having one mfg. flaw that looks like a small scratch. Very Ornate Rockford Silverplate Frame in Excellent Condition with very little loss.

  • Peachblow Brides Basket, Holder by Middleton Silverplate, Very Ornate Unusual Holder. Monogrammed E.L.E. Good Condition, Old Patina. Peachblow Bowl is a very unusual shape, great color fading from light to dark, Crystal Crimped Edge, but sadly an OLD hairline, barely visible from top and tight. Call or email for additional pictures if interested. A Great historic piece! Circa 1885

  • Rainbow Brides Basket, nice ruffled rim, Multicolor with Amethyst, Blue, Red, Orange and Yellow, adorned with Gold Hand painted Medallions. Bowl is hand blown with a swirled ridged exterior and a very large polished pontil. The Meridian Silverplate Frame is very decorative and in Excellent Condition with minor plate loss as you would expect with age.

  • Tall Bohemian Glass Centerpiece Bowl. Wonderful Silverplate Frame, Very Ornate with a Medallion for a Monogram that was never done. Screws On. Some Silverplate Loss as you would expect with age. Bowl is a beautiful green with bold irridescence. High ruffled edge with diamond quilted body. No chips or dings.

  • Rare Color, Rare Shape, in a beautiful Mother of Pearl Quilted Satin Glass Brides Basket. Frame is in good overall condition appearing to be original plate, marked Triple Crown S.P. Co. Frame # 121. Bowl is in a rare deep apricot color, rare "heart" shape, moire quilted satin glass with crimped rim in excellent condition.

  • Wonderfully Ornate Brides Basket in the rare color butterscotch amber with a pink interior. Frame is unsigned. Aesthetic Movement influence on the feet, handles and carved fan adorning the top of this large basket. Some plate loss, but overall Great Condition. Circa 1885

Bowl sits in an Ornate Silverplate Frame Adorned With Berries and Florals signed Webster and Sons, New York. This bowl is from the estate of Ann Richards, former governor of Texas. Circa 1885
